This is a genuine original replacement part for Kitchen Aid Blenders. Also stamped 9701360.
This spare part is made by Whirlpool in the US for Kitchenaid. This assembly will fit all KSB3, KSB5 and 5KSB5 models fitted with the more modern pushfit lid.
The blade assembly consists of the plastic base, sealing washer (rubber gasket 9704204), blade spindle, locking nut and blades themselves.
This blade assembly will only fit KitchenAid Blender jugs which have a push-fit lid. It will not fit old KitchenAid jugs (jars) which have a screw on lid. These older jugs are no longer manufactured and need complete replacement with the new push-fit type.
Warning: The wing-nut that is on the base of the blade assembly is not intended to be removed. It a fragile part that will easily break. It is not available separately.
